As a result of the aging process, less hyaluronic acid are produced. In turn, the skin starts to form wrinkles. Restylane gel work by enhancing your skin’s own stocks of hyaluronic acid, directly adding volume to either soften the signs of aging or enhance your features. What Is The Cost Of Restylane?

The cost of Restylane will vary from patient to patient depending on the areas treated and the amount of product needed for correction. Always keep in mind that your cost of Restylane not only includes the price of the product, but more importantly, the skill and expertise of the doctor or healthcare professional who is administering your treatment. Is Restylane Painful?

Pain felt during the treatment can vary from person to person depending on their sensitivity. Restlyane products contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, within the product itself in order to help reduce discomfort during and after treatment. Dr. Sameerah Wong also uses a topical numbing cream on all her patients to alleviate any discomfort felt during the Restylane procedure. For patients concerned about discomfort, Dr. Sameerah Wong may administer a nerve block to ease pain. Ultimately, most patients consider Restylane injections painless. After having the injections, the patient should hold an icepack to the area for about 15 minutes to reduce possible swelling.

Is There Any Downtime?

After Restylane treatment, there can be slight redness and swelling at the injection site. This is a very normal side effect of the Restylane injection and the inconvenience is temporary. If it does occur, it generally goes away within a day or two.
