How Non-Ablative Lasers Work
A non-ablative laser distinctive feature is its ability to selectively destroy a target in the skin layers without disrupting the top layer of the skin called epidermis. By sparing the epidermis the there is virtually no downtime and easy healing. Different lasers emit beams of different wavelengths. There are lasers for pigment, lasers for rejuvenation, lasers for wrinkles and lines, lasers for vascular/ veins, lasers for hair removal, lasers for skin tightening and so on… Different targets (pigment, hair, skin, blood vessels, etc.) are mainly responsive to a particular wavelength of a particular type of laser that has a specific application.

Partially Ablative Lasers
Sciton ProFractional Therapy laser is an innovative tecnology that uses energy to create micro ablated channels deep in the dermal tissue, covering only a fraction of the total surface area and leaving the surrounding skin intact for faster healing and increase comfort. The wound-healing process produces fibroblasts that generate new collagen, plumping the skin and correcting skin imperfections.
Ablative Lasers
Ablative lasers are the very first lasers used in cosmetic laser dermatology. The ablative CO 2or Erbium YAG laser beam energy is absorbed by your tissues regardless of pigmentation or vein condition because its target of interaction is water. The depth of penetration is a function of its wavelength and can be customized to the problem being treated by changing energy; the number of passes and by using super pulsed or ultra pulsed technology.
Vaporizing your top layer of skin removes all damage to it while heating the deeper layer to stimulate collagen production resulting in a smoother, clearer, and firmer skin. This procedure is indicated for advanced skin damage with fine and deep wrinkling, discolorations, and sagging. The procedure requires about 7–10 days recovery time but the rewards are worth it.
Hybrid Lasers
Hybrid Lasers and Hybrid Laser treatments are the newest and the best laser technology to date delivering dual treatment simultaneously, improving significantly the results and reducing the downtime of the procedure.
